Threshold’s Moncton chaplaincy ministry, Fire Watch exists to build relationships and assist those impacted by addiction, incarceration, poverty and violence. We desire to help bring hope to individuals who are making the transition from incarceration to life outside of prison. Fire Watch is devoted to walk beside ex-offenders who want Christian support in their lives.

Fall 2023 Update
Bryant is originally from Nova Scotia, but Moncton is now his home. He has been out of jail and on his best behaviour for the past eight years, overcoming addiction and avoiding the crimes often associated with addiction. Bryant’s crimes and addiction began when he was just a teenager. Since connecting with Fire Watch, we have been able to be a supportive friend to Bryant, not judging him or measuring him by his past and helping him concentrate on his future. It has been a joy to welcome him into our faith family. Bryant is a very spiritual man who loves the Bible, devotions and prayer.
